Tourism Marketing Tip #15 – Use the Power of Local Television
You can create a public-access television show, perhaps a travel-relate show about sites and events in your area. You can arrange a trade-out with a local videographer, and probably find a local student-actor who will work simly for credit, to build his or her portfolio and for the “fame element.”
The show will get you some built-in publicity. You can re-use the footage on sites like YouTube and your own blog. Make sure it’s know that your business is the sponsor/producer of the series.
